Bambara Restaurant at Hotel Monaco

Of course such a hip swanky hotel has a stylish restaurant.  Why have I not been here before?  I guess my best explanation is that there’s is such a growing amount of fine dining restaurants in Salt Lake that its hard to keep up, especially if you’re on a budget, which I am.

The one that jumped off this list was Spoony & Nata’s Down Home Cafe, simply because it sounded the…

‘Ladies Who Lunch’ Visit The Metropolitan

One of Salt Lake’s most classic fine dining establishments, The Metropolitan, continues to serve quality food for lunch and dinner.  A group of ladies and I, recently visited The Metropolitan, for lunch and found ourselves to be the only diners in the entire establishment.  Though empty as it was, the food we ordered proved to be crowd worthy.
As the leaves are in their full glory in Salt Lake right now and the mountains are…
